As for absolutely everything else you said in that post, nothing I said was unsupported, and if for some reason you still think it was, I really don't care enough to satisfy your requirements for a thing being efficiently "supported."
If you cared enough to do the research, you would find that I am right. If you do not, whatever, because I do not care if you personally think I am right. I actually have enough information on this matter to know that I am just objectively right about the content of the posts that I made.
I have not said you are not correct that martial arts skills may be useful or sufficient in some circumstances. It is simply that they are not always enough, and they are certainly not even possible for some people.
My initial post was in answer to the OP. A firearm is a useful response to attempted rape. It is also not a panacea.
