The Nazis would have killed that many if they had won World War Two and established the thousand year Reich. Also, the Communists while claiming to be atheists, were adherents to an ideology which is a religion (so were the Nazis). I know Communism pretty well, because when I was a teenager I was of the Trotskyite variety. For example; I was involved (well not too seriously) in a student Marxist group here in Australia called Resistance.
