Who killed more people Atheists or Christians?

There is no question that, whether or not Hitler and Stalin were atheists, the majority of the people who were carrying out their orders were probably Christians, whether or not they were allowed to practice openly. Which pretty much just goes to show that even if it's an atheist issuing commands, Christians seemingly can't resist the opportunity to wipe out huge numbers of people. The number of actual, committed atheists in Nazi Germany and Stalin's USSR, however evil, would have accomplished precisely jack shit in terms of mass murder if not for the willing and eager collaboration of a much larger population of Christians.
