Exactly!
What separates a Catholic church from a Presbyterian church? Their doctrine.
Theses churches are no more christian than the "atheist church" because being christian means to be identified with Christ, but their doctrines are not scriptural, and instead of being identified by Christ they are identified by their organization.
If they identified with Christ, then they would have the same doctrine.
Quote:Matthew 15:9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
There is also a passage of Jesus standing outside the door knocking, trying to get back in the church.
Quote:Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
My point is, the atheist church is a religious organization:

Quote:A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence.[note 1] Many religions have narratives, symbols, and sacred histories that are intended to explain the meaning of life and/or to explain the origin of life or the Universe. From their beliefs about the cosmos and human nature, people derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle. According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world.
And doctrines don't have to include God in order to be a doctrine.
