Oh my god (pun intended). Present at least a challenging argument.
I know the discovery channel is full of reruns, but that's also the beauty of it. They're running documentaries about building the pyramids at nauseam.
Otherwise, google is your friend.
Facepalms! there's no mystery about how they did it. There are workers villages unearthed and as opposed to bible idiocy, they didn't use slaves to do the job, but highly trained and paid professionals. It was the most important job in ancient egypt. On a side note to those actually wanting to employ their brain: There are a whole lot of inscriptions being found, about how the workers were organised and how they called themselves. These inscriptions show, there was a fierce competition going on between the different work gangs. And yes, they had the best available health care of the time, provided by Pharao.
Just do some fucking reading or fire up your television.
But television is primarily where they get the idea that the pyramids are still a mystery!
Well..That and a mega shark named Submarine has been terrorizing South Africans for decades (http://www.idigitaltimes.com/submarine-s...ngs-376856), mermaids are real (http://www.businessinsider.com/animal-pl...013-5?op=1 ), ghosts exist, aliens exist, and bigfoot has been leaving evidence all over the planet. Discovery is not a valid source of information sorry to say, and neither is TV in general. Just sayin.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
