Is that supposed to make us feel better, though. It doesn't even seem to slow the cops down.
It certainly feels like a case of Freedom Theater: "Look at how free you are, you are keeping your watchful eye on the police and ... " dah-da-dah-da-dah-dah-dee-doo.
Any time a government official takes an action that results in the death of a civilian, there should be a trial, in a different jurisdiction. If the death is justified, make a motion to dismiss based on the circumstances. But let a judge make the decision.
