Its not that a puddle of water fits the hole perfectly....as you know any shaped hole will support a puddle of water given our physics. Its that if the physics were just a tiny bit different, say there was no gravity , there could be no puddle of water despite the existence of a hole.
You want to examine the relationship between water and holes given physics as they are. The fine tuning we are referring to concerns the physics that allows water and holes to exist in the first place.
We are talking about the entire universe as whole, where as you are talking about something that exists in it.
Life is fine tuned to exist in this universe.
The universe is fined tuned to produce life.
The above two statements are not the same as you would want us to believe with your water/hole analogy.
