Needless to say, as other members have said, nobody knows that happens when we die. It would seem, based on the available evidence, that nothing happens. But until we develop some way of testing and verifying what happens, saying 'there is loads of evidence for life after death' is a lie.
there are countless cases of near death experiences, the story I linked was the most recent. The patient was clinically dead for 45 minutes yet her consciousness was somewhere interacting with "beings".
I suppose I don't need to tell you that the brain can't last for 45 minutes with no oxygen supply, you start to suffer brain damage after just 5 minutes, yet she has no signs of brain damage, a miracle in and of itself.
