"Debunking" an NDE is not possible, as we can't ever go inside someone's head to see what they saw. What can be addressed is whether or not these NDE's are accurate about their depictions of reality (notably the "disembodied spirit in the room" thing), or if the experiences are simply a result of oxygen deprivation and strangled neuron firings that produce images and experiences (as all scientific evidence indicates).
