They had no choice. Very few of the theater chains were going to show the movie. There were terrorist threats on movie theaters, and even though I doubt that North Korea has that far of a reach, it wasn't worth it. I think they'll end up releasing it online or on Bluray. They'll get some money out of it.

Honestly, as far as I can tell, their weapons barely have enough reach to hit Seoul.

Also, I was aware of The Pope Must Die(t), and, as it turns out, it was released on VHS with a write-up that made it look like it was about the pope's needing to go on a diet.
