Actually no. Evidence is pretty much used in anything that needs support. It doesn't necessairly have to be Science. Like on trial at court, or at a debate, and lots of other things in a normal persons life. But really, why claim that you "trust" something and all of the sudden it's real? What's stopping all other Gods from being real because apparently if it works that way, then there's no reason to ignore other Gods out there in imaginatory land.
