An odd question that came to my mind.

Eh. Even if the only choice was 'paradise' I can only imagine the result being the same as the Nexus from Star Trek: Generations (a fantastic movie, IMO), in which yes, it would be great, but it would never be real. Even if its inhabitants live forever, I would be stuck in my own fantasy world. That's not a way to live.
The other options are vastly less palatable.
