History tells us pretty clearly that industry is more than willing to fuck people or this planet up for a dime unless someone stops them. There is no reason to believe it would behave any differently just because they aren't on this planet any more.

Once again, regulate them. That's what we do with all industry whether they like it or not, whether Republicans like it or not. The majority of people understand that some regulation is necessary.

I just don't see the point of the cynicism. We need private industry and we need innovation. I would hate to imagine a world without them.
