Which Jesus is real?

For as many cultures there are as many Jesus'.

There's a black Jesus for the African American community.
There's a Spanish Jesus for the Mexican community.
There's a Caucasian Jesus for the white community.
Etc, etc, etc.

Would the real Jesus please stand up?

With so many different cultures viewing Jesus as the non-white, supposed "superior white" Jesus, how is one to know which is the correct Jesus?

None are correct, as we are not to worship images of God.

With a god who is supposed to be so powerful, one would think he could straighten out who Jesus is.

if He indeed wanted us to worship images.

If Jesus cannot be considered the white version through ministry, what is the purpose of ministry

unless you are a racist what does it matter what color Jesus is? ministry is teaching the fundamentals of the Gospel. Nowhere in the Gospel is race a determining factor, so then why should ministry change at all?

The problem with ministry is that it thinks it changes the culture, yet perhaps it doesn't.

The Romans would disagree.

Ministry certainly destroys cultures, but replaces it with the culture's own version of Jesus.

if culture= sodomy and anonymous sex, then yes expect a change. if not, then not. Christianity work well with 'good people.'

If you are a sex based culture/carnal culture then it forbids the carnal 'morality.' It is in accordance with Christianity.

I'd say 'white Christians' don't give two ff's what other people need to think or do so long as they can have their faith.

In the end, no Jesus is real.  Jesus is a fictional character perpetuated by a religion that thinks it has the world's best interest in mind when in fact it merely wants control of the world through religious belief.

In the end no jesus is real... then I guess I can stop paying my pool guy. Even though He seems real, I must be the one cleaning my own pool. That is if you are right..

If you mean to say the Jesus of the bible is not real, then History would indeed argue that point as well. Because there is more written about Jesus of the bible than any other man in History.

Then you roll into a pile of "Jesus is a banner that all christian's unite behind." if this were even close to being true then why are their so many churches?
