Ah.... but if they decide to give up on Brexit, now, they get to keep all their rather advantageous perks.

If they apply to rejoin later, all those perks will be lost, or have to be renegotiated... and they will likely have to (or be very pressured to) join the Euro.

Honestly, I think the best deal the UK can make at this moment, economically, politically, socially, etc... is to just remain as they are in the EU.

Oh i agree. And i would prefer them to.
But for goodness sake: their leaders Should stop acting like squabling children and just  go for one thing or another.
Sometimes the worst path of action is to take no action at all.

It is ironic that during the year of Brexit, britain’s GDP will fall below that of California for the first time ever.
