This troubles me because when you use statistics, you are putting a lot of people, a lot of good people (single mothers, single fathers, homosexual men and so on) in the same group and labelling them as defective.
Thing is, the mormons are not even using statistics. They're looking at their prejudices and to justify them are making up statistics.

Every sexually reproductive species that has been studies closely has shown tendencies among portions of its population towards homosexual behaviour.
Plus there are plenty of studies that show, at a large familial level and at a species level, having a certain percentage of the population be gay is an advantage.
