They’ve successfully turned “shootings happen because there aren’t enough guns” from what was once a fringe talking point meant to soak up media attention into the actual belief of the majority of the party.
We’re speaking different languages now. There is no bipartisan solution.
It is my firm conviction that the GOP and Conservatism is not a solution, they are in fact THE problem. Wrapped into one package, it is irrational and an obstacle to rational solutions to our problems and a danger to American democracy. There will be no problems solved and no advancement within our society so long as it continues to exist and is allowed to exist. If an obstacle and a threat cannot be avoided or if one cannot go around, above or through an obstacle, then that obstacle must be destroyed.
Do not expect any sane rational gun control solution to be made into law, so long as there is one Conservative Republican that is allowed to roam free in Congress, Washington, D.C., and America. What is one more child murdered to them? That does not register with them.
