With the war raging in the Ukraine, are executions harming the credibility of the United States as being a leader in moral and humanistic values?
We certainly look askance at the US for continuing to execute people. It’s really a minor factor (compared with their treatment of immigrants, their institutional racism, their evident corruption, their economic imperialism, and so on) in their loss of credibility.
