If E Pluribus Unum was never made NOT the motto of the USA, doesn't that make us a dual-motto country? We added a motto but did not officially reject the old one. It's still on the back of the dime in my pocket and on the Great Seal of the United States.
I'm not even a country lawyer, but I question whether there's a strong case that E Pluribus Unum isn't still one of the official mottos of the USA.

I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
