Ends of times prophecy that I can't shake

The good news is that if the JWs are true believers then their violent deaths made them martyrs and added to the total that need to be killed before Jesus returns.  OTOH, if they aren't true believers then their violent deaths had no meaning and they were simply killed for being a big pain in the ass.  In any case the number killed was insufficent to reach the magic number to get Jesus to show up.  Someone has to kill more believers.  It's biblical. (Revelation 6:9-11).  Gotta reach that magic number sooner or later.

I don't care if you believe in god or not. JW's walked the walk. They weren't like many other citizens that idly stood by as atrocities were taking place. So, god or no god, every life taken was not in vain and stood for something. I would be more proud to have been thrown into a concentration camp just for being a pain in the ass to Hitler than minding my own business and taking sides with whoever has the biggest stick.

Even the Bible says that a living dog is better off than a dead lion.  Who remembers the dead?  They are forgotten.

Ecclesiastes 9:4-6 (MSG) = "Still, anyone selected out for life has hope, for, as they say, “A living dog is better than a dead lion.” The living at least know something, even if it’s only that they’re going to die. But the dead know nothing and get nothing. They’re a minus that no one remembers. Their loves, their hates, yes, even their dreams, are long gone. There’s not a trace of them left in the affairs of this earth."

If the dummies had actually fought they would have made a difference.  They died for nothing except for their own stupidity.
