Women's rights have been properly returned to Ireland.
Truer than you know. Irishwomen were among the freest in the ancient world - they could own property, divorce their husbands (and retain their dowery!), and had a voice in clan councils (no vote, but the opinion of women carried a fair bit of weight).
The degrading of female rights - along with the degradation of women themselves - didn't become the norm in Ireland until the Catholic church began to throttle the life out of the place. Hopefully, this vote is yet another indication that the Church is, slowly but surely, being sent packing.
