I am judging nobody.   It is just the Way it is.  If you don't live up to your obligation you are not morally on standard.   So we have to accept then that they are not morally there yet.

I agree.  Their wounds have not healed after 17 years.  And we can accept that it is still not healed.  Thus the reason for your reluctance. Why do their wounds not heal?
