If your answer to the meaning of life is that life is all for nothing then I think you are lying. If your answer to a question about god is that we have not found 1 yet & you consider yourself an atheist then I think you are lying. I think that unless you know the meaning of life then you cannot with certainty say, or believe, that there is no god. You can't seriously expect me to believe that there is no meaning in our lives. It just shows how unknowledgeable you are. I know what the meaning of life is for all living things & it is certainly not "nothing". Any thoughts?
I currently believe that there is no god based on A: The definition of god is really vague and tends to move. B: The concept of god is not helpful, they say god does stuff but never say how C: The idea of god is laughably childish, its simplistic answers to complex questions mixed with wanting things to be true.
Overall I find belief in god to be lazy and intellectually lacking.
On another note theists are also just the worst people.
Look at the USA, their christians just seem to compete with each other to be the biggest dicks they can be.
So glad that in my country theism is largely dying out.
The church I was christened in is a pub now. (my mum was a christian)
