I really find it interesting, just to back up a bit, how anyone can say they need an "authority on morality". I'm not trying to sound superior or anything, I genuinely don't get it. I've never gone out of my way to harm anyone, I've never stolen anything (well, apart from the odd youthful indiscretion), even the thought of killing another creature, even spiders, sickens me - and I'm an arachnophobe in the truest sense. I always hold doors open for others, ladies first and all that, I try to be as honest as I can, if I am in a position to help someone I do it without hesitation. My point is I don't need to wake up every day and be told how not to behave. For me, and I don't consider myself any more or less moral than anyone else, it happens automatically, instinctively.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
