RE: Former Ex-Gay Activist Admits Gay People Don’t Change

Quote:I thought I could argue with anyone about anything but this thread has taught me that I have nothing to say to someone who hates gay people for being gay because he intrudes upon their businesses and doesn't like what he sees.
Did you even read my posts? I think not. Most of you didn't even take the time to answer my points, but rather go on to cry and bawww about it, how I'm so hateful and such.
I hate to repeat myself, so I'll say this once more. I do not hate on anybody.
Quote:You are a deplorable human being, kılıç_mehmet - a type of person that can hate another human being for being who they are and calling it a disease despite it being ingrained into the very genome that makes us human. Gay humans are just as human as straight ones and they have the same capacities to love, hate, feel, and sacrifice just as much as anyone. For better or worse, they are just as human as you and I.
Have you not read a single thing of what I just posted through the last few pages?
Where have I said that gays are not human, or even implied such a thing?
Quote:But to depict them as diseased or sick individuals for finding love with those of the same gender - to see them as somehow being sick or performing a 'dispicable act' for acting on that love.
Well, it certainly is no behaviour that I approve. But I'm not hindering anyone in their ways either.
I have no obligation to approve of their abnormal acts, even if it's love or whatsoever.
As I said, homosexuals are allowed to "live out their love" as much as the rest of the society allows them to do so.
Quote:Well, I think you've shown us who the real sick individual here is.
Just because I don't buy into this whole bullshit, I am sick? I'm very much healthy, and very much sane, my eyes are wide, wide open.
Quote:Make sure when you talk to your voters, you hold your nose Mehmet, obviously Americans are racially impure.
Nicely dramatized, my friend. Nice. Instead of actually replying to my posts, you have to change the subject. If you really want to know my views on race or whatever, you can ask me in another thread.
Quote:You are making it your business-and your business practice is a bad one.
And what is that practice?
Do you really think I go around the streets with a baseball bat in my hand, looking for gays to beat up?
Quote:Every time I want to like the guy, he goes all dark age goatherder.
If I were like...all alone in my views on earth, yeah, you could say that I'm being a reactionary.
But I'm not.

Holy fuck, the ignorant bigotry spewing from Mehmet's mouth is so overwhelming I feel that a lifetime would not be long enough to address it all. I think the worst part is the he can't even own up to his own hatred, and instead he tries to convince himself that he isn't a bigot. Such vitriol doesn't flow from the mouths of the tolerant.

As I said, homosexuals are allowed to "live out their love" as much as the rest of the society allows them to do so. I never made mention that you were actively gay-bashing or whatever. I said you are a sick individual for believing what you believe.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...

You people are like parrots, you repeat the same things over and over again.
Bigotry, ignorance, and of course, hate.
Did you really take the time to read the thread?
What did I and the other dude discuss throughout the course of this thread?
Can you tell me?
