I really tried to set myself a NY resolution to get fit. I have my bro's wedding in May, and it's going to be on a beach, and there will be lots of photos, and I don't want to look like a fat fucker in all those photos.
HOWEVER. I am still not motivated to get up and do anything. I, like suggested earlier in the thread, have to be in the 'mood'. If I'm not in the mood then I'm content to just sit there and say "I'll do it tomorrow". This morning for instance I planned on going out early and getting a haircut and some healthy food from the town centre. Turns out I just lay in bed and said to myself "can't be arsed".
It's really frustrating, telling yourself to do something and making yourself do something are two completely different things. Sure it's down to my own laziness but breaking that habit is hard as fuck.

It is. But I promise you, Nap, once you start really exercising you'll find you enjoy it a lot. It's one of my favorite parts of the week - it really feels good to spend a half hour on the elliptical.

It's not like I've never exercised. I used to do Tae Kwon Do on a regular basis and was pretty fit. But for some shit reason I just can't get into it now.
