As for the question posed in the title, I think none of that. I would never form an opinion against an entire group that pertains to individual things. I obviously think all Chinese people are from China, but I do not think they are all *insert personality characteristic here*. It's silly to think of entire groups of people that way.

I just read this post on a Christian forum.
Christians all make the same stupid arguments which have either been refuted long ago or don't make any sense to begin with.

As we are currently discussing Why Atheists are so miserable, I have decided to start this new thread - to continue my '101 Reasons' Series with '101 reasons why Atheists are WRONG'.

Reason No. 1 - The Holy Bible!

Atheists 'claim' that God doesn't exist, yet the Bible proves them WRONG! I can see the Bible, hold it in my hand, and know 1000% that it exists! As God wrote the Bible, this proves that he MUST EXIST too! How dumb these Atheists are!

Reason No. 2 - Evil-ution from Monkeys!

If we really evolved from monkeys, why do monkeys STILL exist? Surely they would've evolved too? And why don't we have tails or swing from trees or speak in monkey-talk? These atheists must be pretty deluded to believe such nonsense!

Reason No. 3 - The 'Big Bang'

Atheists believe there was a 'Big Bang' which created the Earth and the Universe and all things?? Well, what created the 'Big Bang'?? And what was there before it 'banged'??? Ask ANY atheist - they won't be able to answer you! Why? Because God created the 'Big Bang'! And then went on to create the Earth and everything in just 6 days! Praise Jesus!

Reason No. 4 - Dinosaurs

Most dumb atheists believe that man and dinosaurs didn't inhabit the Earth at the same time. However, we know this to be a LIE! Didn't Noah ride dinosaurs onto the Ark? Aren't Dinosaurs mentioned throughout the Bible?

In anyway, fundies are complete idiots (sorry GC, SW and others), most blindly following the doctrine. As to our reasonable theist members I confess I really don't know why they have such a belief, they have explained over several threads, alas, I remain insatisfied.

Either way I don't think the fact that they hold that belief should stand as a bias towards other subjects or I'd be commiting a Falsum in uno, falsum in omnibus erroneous thought. With fundies its harder because the religious dogmatic belief as a more broad influence in their lifes.

I just don't understand how anyone with any intelligence can believe in anything so ridiculous as Christian doctrine though. Its like they've just scrambled up part of their brain to mush.

I went to a strong Christian faith school and grew out of Christian faith by the time I was about 8, and can't understand why other people don't as well. The whole thing even as a child seemed completely ludicrous and implausible.

Well. If anyone is that irrational in those beliefs imo its not a stretch to think they'd be irrational and spewy in other beliefs and actions.

If I was an employer I'd certainly be heavily biased towards employing atheists over any christian.

Christian belief is a sliding scale from people who kinda believe in christ but otherwise are indistinguishable from atheists, to balls out fundies.

Its the fundies I have a problem with, the ones who let what an ancient book guide them instead of using their brains.

So some christians are stupid, some deluded, some brain washed, some thoughtfull but wanting there to be more. In short their are many types of christian. I'm sure that the majority are just knee jerk christians with only a vague understanding of the religion.
