Me, too.

I was only talking about the guy that Pad asked me about.

Edit:

Nice joke, and I heard that before. Tongue

However, the correct spelling for that word is actually "Shiite" (or "Shi'ite") as opposed to "Shite."
In Arabic, the word is pronounced as "shee-ite" and that's why there are two "i"s in the middle when written in English.

RE: A Sad Joke
The first one I was introduced to was this from Hafiz.

It Felt Love

How

Did the rose

Ever open its heart

And give to this world

All its

Beauty?

It felt the encouragement of light

Against its

Being,

Otherwise,

We all remain

Too

Frightened.

And after that I had to explore more. Big Grin

Shiite happens.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Holy shi'ite.

... I'll get my coat.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The only Sufi poet I've read, and only a little, is Omar Khayyam.

I've tried reading some of the philosophy of the Mulla Sadra,(Sadra Al-Din Muhammud Shirazi) but find it hard going.
