Nothing wrong with teaching your kid evolution and science. If you raise them up happy, healthy, and knowledgeable they wont need religion. The majority of people who have it were raised with it or needed it for comfort because something was very wrong in their life. You don't get a lot of happy healthy smart folks saying "well after careful consideration of the facts I am overwhelmingly convinced of the truth of religion".

Media you're right ... Evolution doesn't even contradict the philosophical school in the Shiite religion, as long as it is guided by "God's will".

I beg to disagree over that point, see not every religious person as the audacity to criticize his religion... Take for example the issue of the "thighing" fatwa(It's basically says that you can married to a toddler and dry hump her... and you can have regular sex after her first mensuration, which was regular on the days of the Mohammed). Everyone in my family disagreed and disgusted with the thought of someone dry humping a little girl, but they didn't have the courage of thinking their religion over.

People in my society rarely question religion... the majority are really good willed people although they tend to stick with their religion, mainly because it gives you an identity and a community to live with. When they see these obviously wrong stuff in their own religion, they tend to paint their own image of religion ... like saying that evolution may be way we were "created" but only through "God's guidance".

It is so sad that these really good people feel so guilty and inadequate without this imaginary friend, "God" character. Not just in your society but everywhere in the world.! Sad

Teach your little one to laugh at herself and her beliefs..it does help balance out the imposed guilt trip imho

And I don't neccessarily disagree. What I was speaking of is people raised without religion coming to religion through "a careful study of the facts" Often it is the result of some stress or loss or problem and it is usually the prevailing religion of their time and area. There are obvious exceptions to the rule but most born agains especially fit that bill. It is not that they have been overwhelmingly convinced of the truth of it. It is simply because it serves a very specific purpose, often emotionial.
