Absolutely and utterly this.
Also it saves "coming out" to your family because they will find out anyway.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

They're soliciting PR, they're offering monetary reimbursement for the time and effort spent (as well as offering to pay you for your credibility, you're more "genuine" than a professional fluffer might seem to some). You don't think they expect a fluff piece? You can agree to the business transaction or not, but that's entirely up to you.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Why not submit the paper without reference to the faith itself.
If I was catholic, I could talk about the sense of family, community, the effect of moral principles etc etc. You can talk about a lot of positive things without once referring to the supernatural bits you don't believe in.
That way you don't have to be actively dishonest.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

Ah, but is that what they're offering to pay for Faith? hehehe. Gotta give the customer what they want.
