What My verse was attemting to show was that just because a fool judges a wealthy man more fortuniate, does not mean he infact is more fortunate in God's eyes. for according to the verse the rich man has far more obsticals to over come than the poor man. This means it is a greater blessing spiritually speaking to be born poor. so why are some born poor? Because God decided to give them a gift He did not impart on the rich.

Of course I read the OP. It would have been fairly silly to comment on your reply if I hadn't. That's why I asked what the connection was. Now that you've connected the dots, I can see the connection to what the OP asked (though it's a bit tenuous, IMHO).

Noope.

Quote:What is the whole point of your religion if you cannot explain even this very basic thing?
To put you in a position to ask the Creator Your self one Day.

Quote:How are you going to enjoy heaven (or suffer in hell)?
The same way I enjoy my smart phone, computers, TV, camper, boat or even my Truck. For I do not know how any of them were made either, yet I somehow squeeze enjoyment out of them..
Big Grin

Quote:What is a soul anyway?
We are a dual natured Creature consisting of Soul and Spirit. The Soul is your incorporeal being, your consciousnesses, the part of you made after the image of God. Your Spirit is your lesser or basic instincts, it is the drive that protects and speaks for the wants and needs of your physical form.

Quote:How it is made, how does it comes into existence?
Again it is described as the breath of God. Outside of that I don't know yet.

Quote:Why are souls different (good/bad/smart/dumb/beyond any hope) and what makes them so?
You are not describing souls.
you are describing personality traits. These are generally related to the spirit as they are influenced or learned in this life.

Quote:Your whole religion idea is based on the immortality of the soul of which you have not the foggiest idea what and how and why it is. Pathetic.
You assume too much.

As people get born on Earth at a rate of about 4 per second, this means new souls get conjured out of thin air (or stardust, or holy farts) by the big guy and get put into bodies. Some of them end up rich, some dirt poor and starve to death in Africa, some end up blowing themselves up somewhere in Afghanistan in the name of the wrong god. Or others become victims of too loving catholic priests. My question is how does your god chooses what happens to a new soul and why. There a a great number of wasted souls, like all the kids that die for various reasons before they can make a choice for themselves - good or bad. Where's the common sense that a supposedly superior creature that spends that much time on its creation should show?

You are correct in saying the soul was created, god only created three times in the six days and the soul was created on the sixth day. The scriptures never state that God did or had to recreate anything, so I do not see God creating a soul each time a persons conceived, only within the human race is a soul part of conception.
You ask what happens to souls, the only wasted souls belong to those who reject Christ, these will be in hell for eternity (please let's not start on eternity here), those children who die before they come to understand sin will be in heaven, God has made provision for them. God's plan is perfect.

Why "dumb" souls are put into bodies, knowing fully well that they are going to create issues on Earth for "smart" (good) souls? Why not simply recycle the bad ones (send them straight to hell)?

There are no smart souls or dumb souls, our soul is the way we understand God once we believe. God is spirit, our soul is spirit, this enables use to understand God. There are smart and dumb choices to be made with God.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

So if these personality traits are stripped off the soul when we die, what is left of us? No memories, no likes and dislikes, people we love, nothing? We go to heaven/hell as an empty standard carcass? Nice, it means I will not be aware of what happens.

One single soul for the entire human race? Please explain who is in heaven and who enjoys hell?

I like this religion thing more and more, it seems no matter you do, everyone pays or gets rewarded (like communism apparently).
I have no problem sharing a common ancestor with the apes; it's being related to some people that bothers me.

Right, the soul has a beginning, therefore has an end. They are conceived in the womb, two souls coming together creates a new soul, god did not create your soul, and souls ultimately die with the body. All I need to know.

Does your god call those souls who died in sin a waste? If so then why?

Quote:God's plan is perfect.
All the legions of lost souls vastly outnumbering the handful of saved souls, not withstanding. That was all part of the plan wasn't it?

The scriptures contradict you:
Quote:Mark 9:17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Teacher, I have brought unto you my son, who has a dumb spirit;

Compared to your god, you can easily argue all spirits, all souls, are thick as shit and just as worthless too.

I have to laugh when these guys deliberately misread scripture to justify their belief that they should sit on God's throne.

I can pull shit out of my ass too.

How's this, before we were born the magical snarfwidget dreamed up each of our personalities and then inserted them into the male sperm, because women are just fields to seed.

No, here is reality. WE WERE NOTHING before we were born. The sperm and egg is what made us. Our personalities "we" our "self" is an outcome of material processes. The only way we survive after we die is in the memories of those who survive us.

You confuse the "abundance" of life as needing a cosmic manufacturer.

Think of the billions of humans now dead, and the 7 billion living today. EACH OF THE MEN out of all of them have thousands of male emissions with millions of sperm in each throughout their life times, and all that where the majority fail, only to produce a kid or a few kids?

BUT ALL LIFE IS LIKE THAT, for every tree that grows tall, there are thousands of more acorns that simply rot. And not to mention that 99% of all species that lived are now extinct in evolution.

With all that manufacturing waste, do you really want to postulate a god? Wouldn't a better explanation be that there is no god, and what we see as far as life is merely a product of evolution?

And what about all the bad shit in life if you are going to postulate an all powerful being? A downs syndrome baby? A child with cancer. Ecoli, anthrax, war, crime disease, natural disaster.

Would you hire a baby sitter who allowed that shit to happen to your kid, even if they claimed "I didn't do it", no, but you allowed it even though you didn't have to.

Seriously, before you go having a kneejerk reaction of emotion, THINK! What would be so frightening if there was no god? It seems to me that with everything that happens that is really shitty in nature and human nature, it seems to me that it would make no difference.

Next question you should ask yourself. NOT ME but look in the mirror and ask yourself.

"Why do I rightfully reject the superstitions of others?" I know why. But once you figure that out you should be able to understand why we reject your claims as well.

NOW I promise you, there really is nothing to fear, life will still have ups and downs and you can still enjoy it without assigning it to a comic book super hero.
