In the interest of sport. Canned goods and MRE's aren't survival food. You're going to need to learn to like garbage and bugs. Canned goods and MREs are only as good as your logistics train (and insurgents..or in your case run-and-hiders don't have logistics.) I suggest a .22 (for your rifle). The rounds are cheap, you can carry thousands in your pocket, and there isn't anything you're likely to bring down in NA that requires more than a .22. I'd suggest an assault rifle as well, but you won't be needing it, because you'll be running and hiding. Ditch the canned goods for an equivalent weight in batteries and flashlights. You'll probably need more than 15 people as well (and most of them ought to be females, hilariously). Here's the really crucial bit- identify and develop a network of sympathizers, you're going to need them, and it will be easier to do now then it could ever possibly be while running and hiding.

We have lots of seeds for planting, by the way insurgency is a losing tactic, always has been. As for the location, yeah we will probobly be spotted after a while. Although it's way off the grid I doubt anyone can hide for long from drones. I also agree about the girls we have 9 male, 6 female. Weve got everything we possibly need not going over it all because that would be stupid to reveal all you plans on the internet. But everything is at a discreet location, and we all know how to get there.

Hate to break this to ya bud, but you can't engage in ag -on the run-. Where did you get the idea that insurgency was a losing tactic? It's widely established as the only long term tactic available for a defender at a disadvantage and heavily skews the outcome of any engagement in favor of the insurgency. Asymmetric warfare has a spotless record....ask the soviets (hell, after the last decade, ask us).

The safest place for you, contrary to the protestation of the chicken little types, is in the middle of any controlled city. You will have indirect access to all of the support services offered by civilization and the cover of the mob. Insurgency is a tactic developed on the principal that the opposing military force won't just wipe out the area's entire population. Yeah I think you will all get wiped out, therefore insurgency is a losing tactic. Can you really make sly remarks about our preparedness? Tell me about all your preps. What are you willing to do to survive? Do you even have a gun? Maybe some extra food in the house incase you fall on rough times?

Heres the kicker though, I'm not so naive as to think that either of things go any way towards ensuring my survival in a situation even remotely approaching the one you've put forward. You really expect to survive what you fear by banding together with 9 guys, 6 girls, some del monte fruit and a handful of books ala "Trapping the Grey Squirrel"? I mean, more power to you, dare to dream and all that....but it isn't likely. Hell, if all we're doing is daydreaming, howsabout you work up a better daydream than run-and-hide in the first place?

(look, I have a soft spot for bunker games, survivor stories, etc, but if you're considering whatever strange situation you've managed to dream up as a sort of impending reality than perhaps you should start taking it seriously (doubly so if you expect others to take it-and you- seriously)? Stocking up on food and imagining far flung agrarian colonies -removed from the oppressive boot of the machine- is fantasy. Now don't get me wrong, you may be one of those rare individuals that could live out your entire life like a rat, but I doubt it. Isn't it more likely that you'd find yourself wandering into the collaborator or resistance camps? Well, you won't need your green beans or your books (or your wilderness focused sewing circle) to be a collaborator, and the resistance camp will always be about a will (and ability) to fight. I'd suggest practicing your "Yes comrades" or your squad level firing drills, not your dewey decimal system for organizing canned goods. That's all amigo.)
