How to cure depression?

Good for you, No, I've known cunts that are better than this. Cunts are warm, soft, moist and welcoming. You, Daniel, are no cunt. Daniel Wrote:You don't count because I don't form my opinions by listening to "random" people posting under pseudonyms on the internet, I form them from the people I know personally. So you've experienced depression and been on antidepressants? Good for you, plenty of people have, when I find a shortage of people I'll let you know. You need to be concerned about your own health, because it's your mind/soul and body. You do with it what you decide is best. Could you be any more patronizing if you tried? I have done much more than simply "experienced depression," but I won't bother getting into it. Apparently, not using my real name disqualifies anything I say I have experienced, yet you can offer amateurish, half-assed opinions based on your uneducated observations as if they're fucking gospel. Let's face it, you don't want to hear anything that conflicts with your tiny, narrow-minded view on anti-depressants. I could send you my medical records(not that I ever would), and you would simply dismiss them with a wave of your hand. You are content with being a misinformed, ignorant dick who pretends his voice is the only one that counts. And drop the condescending "you don't mater" attitude, asshole.

My point is I've known people with depression, with chronic fatigue, girls who cut themselves, people who abuse substances, three women who were in abusive relationships, alcoholics. Stop patronizing me in assuming "my experience" is so limited. I care a lot about health and mental health. Quote:Let's face it, you don't want to hear anything that conflicts with your tiny, narrow-minded view on anti-depressants.Incorrect. Science only advances through falsification my friend. The fact that I know two GP's (one from Church and one's a friend) means that I only need go to my own doctor and pick up the phone and I'll have three qualified medical opinions - but how many people rely solely on their GP? Okay, maybe they should be able to, but the fact is that they are still primarily responsible for their own health, they look after their body 24/7 and their GP sees it for 5-10 minutes every blue moon! As I've already told you, stop ignoring what I'm saying and pretending that it's something I've pulled out of my arse. (November 22, 2012 at 8:38 am)Daniel Wrote: Don't take it so personally, FNM. Just because you know someone who has struggled with depression, chronic fatigue, cutting, substance abuse, abusive relationships, alcohol, doesn't mean you know shit about any of it. Especially when you are trying to compare your experience, as a friend of these people, to those who have actually lived through these things.

Poor wee Daniel... don't know shit, religion makes him think he knows EVERYTHING? :barf:
This thread is sad. I wish you realized that people like you, Daniel, help keep people like us shoveled knee deep in shit like a bunch of mushrooms.
Daniel Wrote:As I've already told you, stop ignoring what I'm saying and pretending that it's something I've pulled out of my arse. That's hilarious. I'm reminded of a saying about a pot and a kettle.... And I'm not pretending. Listening to what you say makes it clear that you [i]are[/] pulling it out of your ass, but arrogance and ignorance is blinding you to this fact. I would elaborate, but you are will only dismiss what I have to say. I'm done trying to have an actual conversation about this, and from now on, your ignorance will be met with derision.
