I have such loneliness issues that if I can't have kids: I am becoming a dog for the rest of my miserable and newly simplified life.

...

That isn't actually due to loneliness, but I figured I'd say something random and insane in this thread.

In June, I turned 49. Never had children, never wanted children. I'm not lonely. Besides, just because you spend years and years of your life rearing them, that doesn't mean they will stay around later to assuage your loneliness. If you don't want to be lonely, get some friends or a pet.

Then the ungrateful little bastards blame you for EVERYTHING

PLUS,when was in my 20's, I read what having a baby does to a woman's body and was horrified. EG it takes calcium from her bones.

I guess that in high school, you don't need your own kids to not be lonely? But as you get older, that changes because friends have their own families? I miss simple truths in life, so someone please explain this to me.
Yes, not in highschool you don't.
But later in life, why not.

I don't want kids either. Don't think I'd be lonely because there's always friends, relatives and women. Lots of women!

My brother in law's mum said I'll change my mind about kids and I replied "Come back to me on that ten years from now and see if I've changed".
It's like they want you to have kids to be like everyone else, pah! Why should I? Live the life where there is no commitments, responsibility or worries.
If I meet a girl who has or wants kids, it's pretty much over before it even begins. Not into marriage either. Big Grin

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Uhh, I just want to point out that choosing not to have kids qualifies you for the Darwin award even more assuredly than mere routine acts of lethal stupidity.

The stupid remove themselves because they lack the intelligence to survive, I on the other hand have perfectly healthy genes and I'm very educated and choose to not reproduce so that I can focus on my life and nothing else.

There's enough people in the world, and far more than enough reproducing. Perhaps nature is telling me not to reproduce because my species numbers are high enough.
