Antagonist, apologist.....I fail to see a distinction.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

And of course you would...

One defends the Bible as "infallible", the other attacks it to expose the true nature behind it.

Lol, which of those two is the apologist? Which is the antagonist?

Unless it specifically mentions a place called purgatory by name, describes it, tells us why people go there etc. then yeah, you're probably wasting your time.

If it's as vague as most other bible verses I get quoted with then I'm not interested at all.

The word Trinity does not appear anywhere in the text of the New Testament, yet the concept is clearly taught. Does the word Purgatory have to be in the text before one believes the Bible supports it?

I'm sure the words, holy ghost, the son and the father are mentioned. The term 'trinity' is simply an overbearing description of that particular concept. Nice try though.

I don't care what you call it, if it's described in the bible like you reckon it is then post away.

OK. If you change your mind and would like to know, just let me know.

Sorry, I missed the last sentence of your post. ...
