100% with you on Resident Evil, Stimbo. I was going to mention it but felt like I was hogging the thread, and I knew someone would pick up on it. As a Romero fan I also appreciated the nod to continuity with blades; it just wasn't enough to save the movie.

I wonder what happened to his little beard, though?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes, I am questioning their validity as books. They're books like Mitt Romney is a legitimate republican candidate - The votes are in, the sheep are on the bandwagon, and if you've lost all faith in anything magical, you might just believe that they're something worth investing time in. You would take his (Stephen King) opinion, you Stephen King whore. Some people will go to extreme lengths to ingratiate themselves with their favorite authors, I swear. Says the guy who has been humping my leg ever since he found out I can be within ten minutes of the guy whenever I visit my sister. By the way, don't forget to bring antiseptic next time you come around humping. Name something unoriginal about it, Napo. Come on, make comparisons to other novels/films. Back up your regurgitation of blog critiques.
Oh, I forgot, MST3K: The Movie should have been epic, but instead it was shorter than one of the episodes.

The first type dare your brain to apply its utmost to set a high standard, and then meet it. The second type injects your brain with a numbing anesthetic, and then proceeds to laugh at your resulting insensibility. Starwars and Indy movies belong to the latter category. Silver Bullet, enough said. Cycle of the Werewolf, along with Dreamcatcher, being the only two things Stephen King ever wrote that I can actually stand...both of which were butchered before they reached the box office.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
You think they're bad? Check out some of his made for tv stuff. Rose Red and Storm of the Century were good, but the Langoliers was wtf.
