I see absolutely no difference, between the tea party and the american libertarians, I do however, agree that ron paul does not represent all libertarians, but that's because he's NOT a libertarian, he's a neo-nazi

Conservatives/tea partiers and libertarians are very very different. Really the only thing they share in common is that they like capitalism.

Conservatives are pro-war. Libertarians are mostly anti-war.
Conservatives are pro-drug war. Libertarians don't care what you do with your body.
Conservatives don't care about right to privacy. Libertarians are against government wiretapping and spying etc.
Many conservatives want to limit expression and speech (many of them actively support obscenity laws). Libertarians don't care what you say or what you watch.
Conservatives are paranoid about illegal immigration. Libertarians see highly restrictive immigration laws as bad for a free market.

Libertarians are essentially pro-freedom in all aspects of life (including money) in so far as you don't intrude on other's freedoms. Libertarians are basically capitalist hippies (if that makes any sense).

Now I'm, not gonna get into the real reason why ron paul wants those things, for fear that you will think I am accusing you and every other libertarian of secretly being nazis and are only making fake oppurtunistic arguments that you will burn the second you get any form of power............

I beleive YOU "TEGH" are personally, anti-war, anti-drug war, care about right to privacy, support expression and speech, see highly restrictive immigration laws as bad, pro-freedom in all aspects of life, a capitalist hippie............ but ron paulists or american libertarians or the LibertAryan party (whatever you prefer) is NOT

It's somewhat of a joke, JUST SO YOU KNOW, amongst both far left, and far right circles, that you independents, moderates, or centrists (or whatever the fuck you dumb assholes are calling yourselves these days) actually support Ron Paul

Boy I really want to give this thumbs up and I essentially agree with you, as usual, cratehorus. It is just a tad more personal than I'd want to make it. I don't really think libertarians are nazis or stupid. I think we all would agree conservatives are the nazis and teabaggers are stupid. Like you, I am disappointed that libertarians want to get in bed with warmongers and idiots. It makes liberals like myself question their priorities and their judgement. But I see it as unwise rather than unintelligent, and a clear difference in values.

You are incredibly ignorant on american politics. This is simply not true at all.

"Independents" are not the same as libertarian. They're more centrist. Independents as a party are just conservatives unhappy enough with the Republican party to have started their own party. Moderates and/or centrists are the opposite of libertarians.

And many libertarians do support Ron Paul. He's very libertarian compared to other republicans (which is why most republicans can't stand him). So what?
