Failed Biblical Prophecies
RE: Failed Biblical Prophecies
Quote:God had told them through Moses they were not to leave anyone alive in the lands He was giving them

What a murdering cocksucker you worship!

Fortunately, the whole story is nothing but later bullshit. Still, you should see a shrink to discover why you get a hard-on reading shit like that.

The Oracle of Delphi told the Athenians to put faith in their wooden wall and they won the naval battle of Salamis. Maybe we should sacrifice a goat to Apollo?

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Well, some of you have been taken care of, sure. Mainly the ones stammering from the pulpit. The rest of you look to be in a pretty sorry state.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Go ahead if it makes you less grouchy, Christians do not have to do such a thing, we've been taken care of.

Yes goats aren't quite your style, you guys prefer human sacrifice, ads a little more drama to the whole thing don't you agree ...

God should have paid a bigger retainer to get someone competent to try to get his sorry, holy, ass off the hook.

The evidence is so stacked against Yahweh that he doesn't need a lawyer, he needs a priest.

...hence why so many are in his employment.

I can't do that, of course. It's merely informed speculation. No other reason for it seems plausible. That, of course, is not proof and it is why I am not entirely certain. I could simply invent proof, or creatively interpret reality in such a way that I could call it 'proof', but I don't do things like that because I'm not a theist.

Certainty is never a problem for you, though, so now you prove your own assertions about God taking an active role in the fall of Tyre, bearing in mind that if your only evidence is in the Bible, you don't have any evidence at all.
