And here is a piece by the largest newspaper in Utah explaining why Romney is a bad idea. Spoiler: he's a mendacious, pandering shithead. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/opinion/550...t.html.csp Also, the Insert Hyperlink function is no longer working for me.

My problem lies in the fact that for some, obtaining a valid form of identification is unduly difficult and cost prohibitive. If state issued ID's were free and didn't necessitate having people get official copies of their birth certificates (which some people can't afford the $20 needed to obtain a copy), I'd be a-okay showing my ID, and expecting others do to the same.(October 19, 2012 at 5:16 pm)festive1 Wrote: In Pennsylvania where the voter ID law was put on hold for the 2012 election, they are putting up signs in heavily minority areas, in Spanish, saying you have to have an ID to vote.... Hmn, you think that illegal voting favors one party heavily....IIRC the most recent (and most visible) voting scandal to have occurred went down in a state close to my heart, and had something to do with a republican candidate who may or may not have stolen a presidential election.....Tammany Hall is history amigo.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. Most recent was Acorn in 2008.

"The Tampa Bay Times, the paper that puts out (and funds) the supposedly unbiased PolitiFact, has just enthusiastically endorsed President Obama for a second term. The Times writes that “[w]ithout hesitation” it “recommends Barack Obama for re-election as president.” The paper cites Obama’s “steady leadership.” It’s no wonder the Times is backing Obama. As its endorsement makes clear, the Times supports Obamacare, the “stimulus,” Dodd-Frank, Obama’s proposed tax hikes, his handling of foreign policy, his handling of immigration, his efforts to redefine marriage, his not being pro-life, and his economic stewardship. In other words, the Times is a full-spectrum Obama supporter. And we’re supposed to believe that those who write — and rule — for PolitiFact, described in its own words as “a project of the Tampa Bay Times,” are not?" Will you be doing this a lot? So far I see at least 5 threads by you that simply announce papers supporting candidates. Given the relative unimportance of this as "political news", and the fact that there are hundreds of papers, would you mind just having one thread which you update? I'd be happy to merge all the current threads into one for you.
