Who is the ideal woman, in terms of both looks and personality?
I've always been interested in seeing what fellow dudes desire in a woman, given that I see a lot of guys settle for whatever they can get without much discrimination. What do you really want? No compromise. Go all out.

Someone intelligent and open-minded with some overlapping interests (philosophy, game dev, reading, writing and/or art and/or music [as in she makes any]). Someone who creates stuff I guess. Hell, a mechanic or programmer would interest me. I guess it's important to me that they want to learn, no matter what it is. And they can't be someone who's easily offended. Oh, and independent. I don't mean they have their own car or house or any of that shit, I mean they can think and make decisions for themselves. And I like it when someone makes me laugh
Looks I really can't be bothered speculating on. She looks like what she looks like, and that's enough. I find that people become (physically) attractive when they have an attractive personality, but perhaps that's just me. There's a lot of pretty women that are pretty in the same sense as the shiny buttons that pervade many of today's websites; they're clean and neat and everything is exactly proportioned. But there's no character, mystery or nuance. I personally can't stand women who pluck their eyebrows, want to get married and apply make-up, though lately I've been wondering whether that's an irrational preference. But maybe all preferences are ultimately irrational anyway...
Also, how dare you distract me with this thread! I came to AF with a mission. Now I've forgotten what that mission was and I'm hungry. What's your obsession with the back, mang! This ain't no Justin Timberlake song!

Ideally for me, I'd like someone who reads quite a bit, and (this is key for me) a girl who likes to go barefoot a lot. I have a foot fetish, by the way. Fortunately, I've recently met a barefoot girl who goes to the same college as I do, and I think we're hitting it off.
