I'm similarly unimpressed/uninterested with how competent the editors of any given holy book have been throughout the ages. Nobody bickers over whether or not Aaron existed by arguing that the most recent edition of Titus Andronicus was printed free of typos, or conversely, by arguing that the earliest known copy is riddled with them.
