I would pitch a right fit, but I'm in the US and my kids attend public school (only partly true, my youngest is in a private Montessori program run by a lovely, Indian-South African woman, I think she's Buddhist, who knows we aren't religious, but he'll be attending the same school as my 1st grader next year).

I'd be at the school in a hurry asking about this bible man. I'd be pretty pissed if some clown were teaching my girls to embrace the nonsense. I'm all for kids learning and taking what they've observed to make up their minds. And I feel that I teach my kids to look for truth, but I wouldn't sit by and let some dickhead push religion on my kids and hope they don't fall victim to the madness. I suppose I also see it like, the kids don't have a say in what they are taught or what storytime entails. This man's ideals and beliefs are literally being forced upon those children in your son's class. As innocent as this bible man may make it out to be, it has no place in the classroom. It would either stop, or my kids would not be in that class for a minute longer.
I'm not religious, but for some odd reason I feel like you are making this up.
Oh. My. Gahds.
Seriously. This thread is three years old. The OP hasn't been back since then.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
Holy necro.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
