Hey I'm back. Took a nice nine hour sleep and logged on to see that this has hit six pages! Wow.
Anyway, I don't think that I am going to continue my argument considering it was a tangent to begin with. I was just interested in what you all thought of Dawkins.
Maybe if I start another thread, I can make it a little bit more clearer. Some might say that I am conceding defeat. In a way, yes. You win.
Yes, I am a Christian on these forums. I am not here to judge or condemn, rather, I am here to debate, learn, and incite discussion. Yes, I think that my avatar is hilarious.

He is very intelligent and is a great spokesman for free thought and science.
I have seen alot of his debates and he always argues well.

Reading The God Delusion tipped me over the edge from agnostic to atheist. I respect the guy a lot.

If you can convince me that this is intentional irony, I'll give it the kudos it deserves. Call it an award for subtlety.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I met Richard Dawkins at a fundraiser for Japan after that massive Earthquake. I think it was called "Non-believers Giving Aid". It was pretty rad. I got to drink beers (I got drunk), play pool with David Silverman, and talk to Richard Dawkins. I didn't like the people there though. All snobby pursed face straight edges who had major sticks up their asses around Dawkins.
