It's just a common use of the word and turn of phrase Cat.......moral acts are acts to which a moral value is assigned (wrong, in this sense, by the by, as in whether or not it's right or wrong to assign such a value), positive or negative being those values.
Do yourself a favor, google "moral acts" and read -the very first hit-.

And? You may not choose to use the phrase, it's still a phrase in common use, it is intelligible and coherent. Just trying to help you understand the english language homey.
Yoo could, very accurately and very eloquently, call something you thought to be immoral a "moral act". Then you could go on to explain why this moral act -is- a moral act, and why is should be negatively valued......
The reason that such a term is useful btw, is that it provides neutral ground in a debate over morality. If things are either moral or immoral calling them such assumes the conclusion. Not all acts would appear to have any moral value - and any given person may not wish to argue for every single potential act before continuing a debate about morality-. We agree "this is a moral act", whether it is a negatively valued moral act (immoral) or a positively valued moral act (moral) is still up for grabs. In order to facilitate productive discussion on the subject this is the common assumption that both sides must agree to, that said act is a moral act - a value can be assigned. Get it now?

The Spanish pronunciation of Jesus is "hey-soose", right?
The Hebrew interpretation of the phoneticaly pronounced "hey-soose" is blasphemy according to most "Christians"...
What is the Hebrew interpretation you wonder?
Hey = "he", the Hebrew letter that represents "the"
Soos = The Hebrew word for "horse".
Soooo, basically, one could assert that "Jesus" means "The horse" in Hebrew... (have fun with that one guys...)

Of course you could, you just didn't know what the term "moral act" meant until my last few posts. Calling something a moral act does not invest it with positive moral value, it only identifies that act as the sort of act which such a value -can be- invested with (positive or negative).

Of course you don't, as the subject as to what is or is not a moral act (save taking a piss) has never come up. More importantly, the value I assign to any given moral act is absent i our conversation. I'm just helping you clear up a misunderstanding about a phrase that seems to have caused considerable confusion for you.
