Violet, I haven't tried dying yet, which is on your list have you any pamphlets on the subject, as I feel there are a few people on this forum that would wish I tried it out.

I've never really understood why life has to have a meaning.

Me, I just go out, enjoy life, try to make the world a little better and die a happy old lady. The rest is just details. Does that give life meaning? I don't care.
I live on facebook. Come see me there. http://www.facebook.com/tara.rizzatto

Actually, oblivion to me seems like a nice place to be right now.

Trying to die is usually considered suicide. Unfortunately, other people aren't creative enough to write a good suicide song/song about death Undecided

Maybe not to you... but to a whole load of people out there: it sure as fuck beats the alternative.

In my experience life is worth living because I am experiencing relief that my life is not worse than it is.

I've had it put like this to me before.

Why does one go to a movie not knowing the plot, or the ending? Why does one go to a sporting event not knowing who will win and that the game will end eventually?

There is no ultimate meaning to life, that does not mean you cant enjoy as much as possible the finite life you have. Life will have ups and downs and then lights out. So be yourself and do the best you can and take the ups and downs and be as happy as you can when you can.
