Try again.

Oh again remember as you pointed out the 10 commandment show that none are innocent. try and keep that in mind when constructing your next arguement.

The ten commandments are in the old testament, aren't they? The one you don't follow because it only applies to the Jews, not to Christians?

Or is it just the parts of that text that are inconvenient to your argument that you don't follow?

That no one is innocent. For all have broken the laws of God.
Game set match.

LOL.

Now I remember why you were banned at AF.com.

This is such utter nonsense, and contradicts your OWN HOLY BOOK (what's the point in commandments if they can be ignored at will based on a loophole...sanctioned by your god?), I have no idea where to start my critique.

So I think I'll have a cup of tea and think about boning my fiancé instead.

Why won't you if other Christians would have?

It is because I have the persepective provided by the very same christians you mentioned and their failed legalistic worship, to know this is not what God wants.

Christianity through it's mistakes has 'evolved' (for the lack of a less ironic term) beyond the legalism that was established in the dark ages. Because of this and scriptural support I know you do not have to die for whatever your sin of choice maybe. (unless the goverment we live under calls for it, even if the goverment calls for your head God does not in this life anyway.) If you literally had to die for your own sin whatever it maybe the the rest of us (all of humanity) would as well, whatever our sin of choice maybe.

This truth is what came out of the inquistion, the crusades, the witch hunts and everything else that demands strict legalism as a means of worship. Remember 'we' trough the freedom God has given us chose this path. A path we remained on until our blood lust was filled. For from the beginning The bible has give direction and freedom from legalistic worship. It seems 'we' like most of you are not ready to understand that.

The 10 commandments are not the corner stones of Christianity you believe them to be. I will admit some of our more 'legalistic' brothers have adopted them in their most pure form, but I would say 95% of Christianity do not strive to keep the 10 commandments.
Why? For the same reason I said before.

That said some of the commands do carry over, as they are directly mentioned in the NT again. While others do not. Matter of fact in some cases we have been intentionally liberated from keeping certain commandments. I can think of 2 off the top of my head if you want to discuss them through book chapter and verse.

The law serves only one purpose. It is not provide a rule that we all strive to up hold as a way to earn righteousness before God. the purpose of the law is to show that all have sinned. Meaning All have been disqualified from 'earning righteousness' through keeping the law. This conviction of sin is supposed get us to seek the attonement offered by Christ instead. This is what the 'Holy Book' actually says if one cares to study it beyond looking for a list of rules.

You know, this is the kind of drivel I expect from a sissy phony Christian like you. Namby pambies like you go around apologizing for Christianity, as if we should be ashamed of doing the Lord's righteous work. "Evolved"? Seriously?

Do you not think the Lord would have gotten it right the first time?

Seriously.

Do you not think the Lord would have gotten right the first time?

Or do you think the Lord was powerless to implement His laws correctly the first time?

The real reason I don't go around stoning homosexuals is because of that damnable liberal democratic government we live under with all its "liberty" and "constitution" and "rule of law" (human law) and "rights for this" and "rights for that". I'm disgusted how this is no Christian nation. If it were, we could follow the Lord's laws as originally written and stone little children in the public square.

Praise the Sweet Name of Jesus.

Amen, hellbound heathen. The one bit of common ground you and I share is our contempt for these liberal Christian fools who treat the Lord's Word as a software license agreement (skip to the end and click "I agree" on it). All this twisting into mental knots to justify all our righteous bloodshed, as if the Lord's work needed to be justified!

@Drip
It is either The Word of God or it is Not The Word of God! Make up your mind already you phony Christian fools!
