Britain leaving the EU

RE: Britain leaving the EU
Why would the deaf be more prone to just follow orders? You've set me off by saying this...

Hah, Even if politicians did know what was best for their people, they still wouldn't do it.

Here is a good example of poll analysis.
Not trying to look biased, far from it.

Angry? Hold back progress? We've had green belts built on, people made jobless by the many thousands, we're in the middle of a housing crisis and we've been told another 29 million can come in. What progress? Sorry but, things are getting pretty ugly and a depression seems ever more likely.

I'm going to have to bring this to an end because it's becoming too touchy, also dailymail isn't the only ones, go on google and type in UK to leave EU polls, or something along those lines.

I don't mind debating with people on many topics, it's who I debate with. I hate arguing with touchy people, just ruins the fun of discussion to be honest.

To be honest Ace it just looks like you're the one getting touchy. I think Ashendant was being perfectly fine.

Hum no... what I mean is that Britain joined the EU under the silly belief that they were never told that EU was going to become a political union and believed it was a "just" a free trade market. In one of CHurchill speeches... Hence the deaf thing.

Ok fine, the UK politicians known what's best for their people, because the businessmen telling them to leave the EU would be a economic nightmare.

Green belts?

This is happening all over europe as we're in the final throes of this crisis what do you expect? You don't seriously believe Britain can stay completely isolated from the world do you?

Which is part of the free market. The free movement of workers is a two way street and you're making it look like it's not

The list is huge and if we want to go over it we could.

Land not to be touched, environments that are not to be built on. They've been built on. Lots and lots of houses....

Of course not, but people must understand limitations. Adding millions of people to an overcrowded island won't make things any better.

Read response above.

Best not, this isn't getting anywhere. Agree to disagree on this one.

I disagree, I have asked perfectly valid questions. I still have a lot of material to use, chose not to because I didn't want the debate to become to touchy. I've actually held back a lot.
It's a touchy subject. I've given my opinion and defended it. For me, the debate is over.
Now, to get this topic out of mind, I'm off to find some naughty women in tight clothes. Wink

And Ashendant hasn't given perfectly valid answers? You accused him/her of getting touchy, yet you're the one running away from the debate and 'holding stuff back'.

S'all I'm sayin'.

If I had known how heated this would be, I would have never opened this thread.

I for one have heared enought arguments against and for. And since I am incapable to vote in the UK, I will simply wait and see what happens.

I still have one question to frankiej though:

What do you think of Scotish independence?
