People who observe that institutions (such as government) are bigger and stronger than they are, and sometimes have weapons.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Any my Question is this:
Should we respect religions as a whole?
And what I mean is stop being so polite when it comes to the religion its self (I don't mean being a complete jerk to any one person as that's just cruel) and to show everybody just how stupid and evil and irrelevant it is to the whole world.

We???

I never saw Atheism as a kind of collective which had some kind of guiding principles for people to follow and really dont think it is or ever was.

I have my own personal mindest and principles.

I dont think of it to be alright to discriminate religious people because of their belief.
I rejected religion on a personal level and I think atheism is also a personal conclusion to reach.
And the only circumstances under which I believe it to be alright to publicly protest or even call for the abolishment and maybe even criminalisation of a faith, is when that faith intends to inflict harm onto sociaty or individuals.
I also think it is nececery to keep religious skripture out of politics.

Which is my personal opinion and not some general guidline I follow.

RE: Should we respect Religion?
I think its important to respect it enough to argue with it on its level, dont just say all christians are peadophiles or that all muslims are terrorists because they will just walk away from the argument feeling smug and that youre the ignorant one. This is just with regards to "moderate" religious people who happen to come on these forums.
With regards to muslims who are terrorists who say they dont fear death id perscribe a method of execution so bad they would wish they hadnt been born in the first place, which you would probably think was disrespectful to them. And as for televangalists, the pope, the bishops who have no rightful place in any position of authority who seem to have a lot of wealth when i cant see how they got that wealth apart from charitable donations id say they deserve a lot of disrespect, i think they are conmen who should be encarcerated.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

RE: Should we respect Religion?
To paraphrase House, we should respect things that deserve respect. Religion is, at best, a bad idea. It deserves little to no respect. Theists, on the other hand, are deserving of our respect. Some of them anyway. Others are evil bastards who don't deserve an ounce of respect.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

I'll respect a person's right to believe what they want, not the belief it self. Especially if they run around ramming it into people's faces, I can't respect that. It's disgraceful behaviour.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Respect, that's an expression of love among hip-hop artists, isn't it?
