Hey, that gives me a great idea for a movie. This one guy decides to rid the Catholic church of pedophiles, starting with the priests, and works his way up through cardinals and such, until the grand finale when he kills the pope. That would totally be a fun movie. I could start work on the script right now (I'm a screenwriter).

It is business as usual at the Vatican as they elected another criminal pope. In this Pope's case he handed over priests to the Junta (who tortured them) which was ruling Argentina at the time he was a superior in the Society of Jesus in Argentina.

I am not sure if he like the last Pope protected pedophile priests from legal prosecution.

A lot of Argentines and Uruguayans are descendants of Spanish and Italian immigrants who arrived there in the late 19th to the middle 20th century. The influx of Italians has meant that Argentines at least those in Rio Plata area speak Spanish with an Italian accent.
