If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

You have to stop mocking God and listen to God as if God may exist, treat God with respect, then God will listen to you. Otherwise you will never know whether the things I am sure I have experienced are real.

I'm meeting up with a girl at uni today that told me she wants to be a Christian. She's tried praying before but she can't hear God. What apologetic 101 excuse should I spew forth on behalf of your non-existent god? Or should I go with Occam's Razor and tell her the simple truth is that no omnibenevolent god would ignore sincere prayers from an unbeliever willing to find him i.e. he doesn't exist?

Oh, jstrodel. Sometimes you annoy the hell out of me with your posts. Sometimes you irritate me. Today, however, I really feel bad for you. No... really. I do. I'm not being sarcastic. I feel bad for you, because I know that a few years ago I might have said something similar and felt glorious while saying it. I might have said it to my church friends and they might have cheered, yelled, "amen to that", or even shed a tear. I might have thought I was feeling the unction. Now as I read it, it sounds so sad, delusional, childish, and just plain crazy. I should point out, however, that this was the wrong place to post it. You should post it in a Christian forum. They'll love it!
